As individuals we are all very active in finding different classes, from local groups at colleges to workshops with recognised experts (at enormous expense!) around the country. We learn what we can from the tutor and bring that knowledge back to share with the rest of the group. You may notice, however, that we now frequently all attend the same workshops, which only adds to our enjoyment and hopefully the amount we learn and remember.

In addition, we frequently visit galleries, particularly the Mall and Bankside Galleries in London, to keep up to date with the work that they are showing, keep in touch with some of our favourite painters, and occasionally attend workshops there. During 2003, we all spent two very happy days at the Mall Gallery, attending two workshops in the company first of David Curtis, working on painting the human body in watercolour, and second with John Yardley painting busy street scenes. Plans and bookings for 2004 will be added to the web site as and when they are confirmed.
