Following the launch of "Splashing Out", Fiona Pruden announces
This is the opportunity to take your very first painting steps within a small and friendly group, where you can develop your knowledge and experience throughout the term in small and simple steps. Each term builds into a complete watercolour course providing everything that a watercolourist needs to learn.
Each three-hour
session will include a combination of demonstrations, discussions and
ample time for you to practice what you have learned, with plenty of help
and encouragement to build your confidence.
You will be expected to complete work at home so your own personal
progress and development can be monitored and to ensure that you get the
individual help and attention that you need.
The course will provide a full
introduction to the mysteries of watercolour with tried and tested
techniques for solving many of the particular problems that
watercolourists encounter. As
your experience grows we will start taking risks, playing painting games
and making sure that you have plenty of fun and enjoyment to keep your
painting free and expressive.
From Wednesday 16th June until Wednesday 14th July, we will meet each
Wednesday morning from 9.30am to 12.30am.
Each session is £15.00, or you can take a 10% discount if you pay for all
5 sessions at the start (ie £67.50).
So if you are one of those people who hasn’t touched a paintbrush since
schooldays – but would love to 'start out' again – this could be the
time to plunge in and enrol in a really specialist group.
